How it works

A memory that earns its place.

Treechat does more than save transcripts. It turns useful context into a small, reviewable memory—and leaves the rest alone.

01

It notices what is worth keeping

After a normal chat, Treechat looks for details that will genuinely make a future answer better—your preferences, ongoing projects, useful defaults and important changes.

02

It updates, rather than just appends

New details are checked against what is already known. A correction replaces the current version while keeping the timeline coherent, instead of creating a pile of duplicates.

03

It remembers at the useful moment

Before answering, Treechat automatically brings back the most relevant details. For harder questions, it can search your memory again with a more focused query.

Useful by design

The details that stop you repeating yourself.

Memory is for stable context, not every passing thought. You can see what Treechat knows, correct it, delete one memory, or clear everything from Settings.

Private Chat

Some conversations should simply disappear.

Private Chat does not save the conversation, read your existing memories, create new ones, or keep uploaded files. When you leave, the conversation is gone.

The AI provider still processes each message to answer it. Content-free usage totals remain for limits and cost accounting.

Let the second conversation be better than the first.
